Kathryn Lasky was born June 24, 1944 and is a children’s story writer and also rights for adults under the names Kathryn Lasky Knight and E. L. Swan. Her children’s books include Dear america, the royal diaries, sugar time, the night journey, wolves of the beyond and guardians of Ga’hoole. Lasky is married to Christopher Knight and lives in Cambridge Massachusetts.
