Summary One
So far in the devils arithmetic Hannah and her family were celebrating the passover. During the celebration Hannah poured all of her wine into Elijah’s cup or the fifth cup of passover even though you only had to pour in a sip like everyone else.Grandpa will seen this as a sacrifice and let Hannah open the door to Elijah witch this part I don’t understand and Hannah was transported to Poland in 1942 during world war two and met a man and women named Shmule and Gitl . Shmule and a women where about to get married when they seen German solders who took them and there Jewellery and belongings and placed them all in a crowded box car and now they are going to an unknown location.
